Gaia?

A rising bubble floats upwards through a prickly cavern,
Glance the sides and disperse back into the pool.
Reach the top and break free into the vista

Expanding, ever reaching, sprawling, expansiveness
Floating aimlessly amid the lightscape
Which winds carry which way?
What input derives what output?

A drifting bubble melts into a mist
Scattering, falling, back below
Yet ever continuing, a grain breaks away

Where moisture coalesces into silky bands,
An arid mass meets its doom
Perspiration breaks loose,
Fissures crack, and moisture exhales

A desolate grain of mist gets caught in a breath,
And thus continues its aimless journey
Rising through the raw emptiness

And thus the void subsides
